While the visual aspects of this video are suboptimal, it captures Leonard Cohen1 singing “Hey, That’s No Way to Say Goodbye” in a rhythm distinct from any other performance I have heard.

    Well, full marks for experimentation, and full marks for realising that the old way is best.

    By a technological quirk, I managed to play these two versions simultaneously.
    The resulting non-rhythmic cacophony sounded like a musical three legged race. Thank G-d for musical maturity.
