People sometimes assume that there exists some kind of ‘Café of Song’ where all the lyricists and composers come together and talk about interesting things. But such a thing obviously does not exist. Anyone who is seriously engaged in something, whether it’s art or science, is an outsider by nature. Only in the periphery one can work.
